Terms and Conditions

Reservations
Easyways books accommodation on your behalf and acts only as your agent. Your contract is with the accommodation provider. We have many years experience, a close relationship with our suppliers and constantly monitor their performance to ensure that they provide excellent service. However, the inclusion of an accommodation in our services does not constitute a recommendation. While every effort will be made to reserve the accommodation of your choice, Easyways reserves the right to book an alternative price band or location where necessary. In such cases clients will be consulted and their approval obtained before any reservations are confirmed.

Booking & Payment
Credit card details are requested to confirm a booking or alternatively payment of the appropriate booking fee in advance is required. On completion of the booking process an invoice will be sent. This contains details of all costs including accommodation deposits, booking fees and luggage transfers where applicable. Full payment must be received to secure your accommodation. We accept payment in Sterling by cash, credit card, debit card, sterling cheque or bank draft. Payments are not accepted in foreign currency. Payments by credit card will be subject to a 1.85% charge to defray card company charges.
Clients pay the balance of the accommodation cost to each establishment during the walk. 

Alteration to bookings
If you wish to change your arrangements subsequent to the bookings being made there may be an amendment fee.

Cancellations
Should you find it necessary to cancel your trip before or after the start date Easyways will make the cancellation on your behalf. It should be noted that any deposits and booking fees are non refundable.
Accommodation providers have a variety of individual terms and conditions. Some take deposits and some do not. It is not practical for us to supply clients with each individual establishment’s terms and conditions. However it is necessary for us to protect them against no shows, and last minute cancellations . Should you cancel your arrangements at short notice or fail to show cancellation charges will be deducted from your credit card on behalf of the establishments already booked. The following cancellation charges will apply:
Up to 7 days before the start of the walk – loss of Booking Fees and Deposits
7 days or less before the start of the walk – full payment of the accommodation less any deposits already paid.


Personal Insurance
For your safety and convenience we strongly recommend that clients take out holiday insurance with cover for cancellation or curtailment, baggage loss, personal injury and third party liability

Luggage Transfer
Bags must weigh no more than 20 kilos or less depending on the individual carrier’s conditions. Excess items however small may incur an extra charge and overweight bags may not be moved.

Complaints
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with Easyways’ service we request that you notify us in writing as soon as possible. Should you have a problem with your accommodation it  should be taken up immediately with the provider.

Responsibility
Easyways does not accept responsibility for death, injury or illness of customers on any trip. All routes are followed at the client’s own risk. Bookings are made on the understanding that participants have considered the nature of the route, are physically fit and do not have any medical condition that may make physical activity dangerous for them. Clients use any transportation arranged by Easyways at their own risk.

Force Majeure
Easyways cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from war or terrorist activities, weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, airport closures, rescheduling of means of transport, or any other eventuality which may delay or extend the holiday.
