The company was founded in 1996 when it was realised that there was a definite need for an accommodation booking service on The West Highland Way. The idea of this sevice was to save walkers time and effort and also to ensure a high standard of accommodation. Consequently, Easyways was established and although our initial operations concentrated on the West Highland Way, due to customer demand we have now extended our service to include a range of walks all over Scotland – see Long Distance Walks and Walking Holidays.

We can offer advice and information on any aspect of your walk, including assistance in route planning, organisation of backpack carrying services, details of facilities en route, provision of bus and train times, advice on transfers to your first stage, arrangements for private transport and much more. We have a host of carefully researched information at our fingertips.

Our main focus is on flexibility - you choose how many stages you wish to undertake on your walk and tell us the type of accommodation you prefer - we do the rest!!

You receive the accommodation at cost price and simply pay a one-off booking fee to Easyways - there are no hidden costs. It's easy!! In fact, we have even negotiated reduced rates with some of our preferred hotels and the benefits are passed on to our clients.

Walking Package Holidays

Many of our customers were so satisfied with our services onthe long distance walks that they encouraged Easyways todiversify into providing an ever greater choice of walking holidays not just in Scotland but in Bulgaria too. Easyways has now developed special relationships with other holiday operators in order to be able to offer an exciting range of Walking Holidays. These packages are offered at a set cost but we still aim to be able to provide our customers with both flexibility and value for money.

The company is now owned and managed by Douglas Crighton who has more than ten years experience in the Scottish travel industry.
