Easyways makes all the arrangements for your walk along the Great Glen Way. Beginning at Fort William this scenic route travels through a magical landscape of lochs, hills and forests to the highland capital city
of Inverness.
From Scotland’s highest
peak, Ben Nevis, the walk takes you along the tree-lined towpaths
of the Caledonian Canal and passes by the beautiful lochs of Loch
Lochy, Loch Oich and, the world-famous, Loch Ness with its many
mysteries. Walkers will follow various forest tracks, then cross
Ness Islands on the river and onto the trek’s finishing point
at Inverness Castle.
The standards of accommodation
and hospitality on this trek are excellent. The Great Glen Way can
offer hostels, b&bs, inns, guesth ouses and hotels. However,
it should be noted that not all types are available at every stage.

an indication of what you are likely to pay. And, you can choose
a mixture of types of accommodation each day - a Youth Hostel, one
evening, and a Hotel, the next. It is designed to be totally flexible
