Prices are on a per person basis, based on two people sharing a room. The prices do not take into account single person supplements – these vary per walk and can be found on the specific walk page.
Unless otherwise stated in the specific walk description:
- Breakfast is the only meal included.
- Packed lunches can be ordered on arrival at your accommodation, usually on the day before they are required. Some locations do not provide a packed lunch service due to their close proximity to local shops, where a good range of provisions is available.
- Evening meals are available at all stages of every walk, sometimes in your accommodation and sometimes in nearby pubs and restaurants.
DOOR-TO-DOOR BAGGAGE TRANSFER SERVICE
One bag per person is included in the EasyWays Fixed Price. The baggage carrying service will transfer your main luggage between each stage, allowing you the comfort of taking a lightweight back pack for essentials along with you, safe in the knowledge that the rest of your luggage will be waiting at your next accommodation. The weight of each bag must not exceed the baggage handling company terms and conditions (usually around 18-20kg). The exact limit is shown on the page for your specific walk and will be confirmed in your EasyWays Tour Pack. An excess weight bag may not be moved if it contravenes the Health and Safety Policy of the Baggage Handling Company.
At EasyWays, we have an excellent overview of accommodation providers and up-to-date information on room availability. We will do everything we can to satisfy your individual preferences. Accommodation can be limited at certain stages, particularly during summer months, especially on weekend start dates. The best way to ensure that you get exactly what you want is to book well in advance.
In circumstances where your preferred location is no longer available we will contact you with alternative suggestions, for example:
- Mix and match on hotels, guest houses and hostels
- Change of start date, perhaps to a week day
- Variation to the route
- Taxi transfers (see below)
- Change the route
It may not always be possible to accommodate large groups at the same establishment, especially in guest houses. However, if it becomes necessary to split a group, every effort will be made to book establishments in close proximity. If certain group members must be accommodated at the same establishment, please make this clear to us on the Enquiry Form or when speaking with us at time of reservation.
It is usually possible to leave your car at the beginning of the route and return by public transport to collect it at the end of the walk. Some accommodation providers will allow you use their carpark free of charge. Others will let you leave your car in their car park for a daily fee. In other cases, street parking is the only option available. If you require car parking, please enquire at the time of booking.
Some walks include taxi transfers as an integral part of the walk. This is usually where you are walking in an area that is so remote that there are not many accommodation providers and the distance between places to stay is too far to walk in one day.
In other locations, it may be necessary to add on a taxi transfer because accommodation at a particular stage is fully booked. In this case, you can stay at one stage for two evenings with a transfer back and forth to the next stage and the cost of the transfer is not included in the Fixed Price.

All walks include location details for each accommodation and links to travel information to help you get to the start and from the end of the walk.
All walks come with a guarantee that we won’t leave you stranded. You will be provided with contact details of all the accommodations reserved in your name and an emergency telephone contact number so that you can travel with peace of mind at all times.
Travel insurance is not included and we highly recommend that you make your own arrangements before you travel.
