Where is the Great Glen Way?

There is so much to see when walking The Great Glen Way.

The 73 mile, 6-day walk is easy to reach and one of the best things is the scenery that you will pass through on the route. You can walk the route in either direction. If you are starting The Great Glen Way in Fort William your route passes through Gairlochy, South Laggan, Fort Augustus, Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit. You can reach Fort William from Glasgow by bus or train or even directly on the overnight Caledonian sleeper train from London – a very easy place to access! Inverness is also easily accessible by train or bus and starting your route here offers the opportunity to walk along the north bank of Loch Ness at the start of the route, heading south-west to Fort Augsutus and on to Fort William.
